About the position

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Developer with expertise in Python or Spark and AWS to join our team. The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines in Snowflake, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes, and collaborating with data engineers and analysts to meet data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines
• Design and implement efficient data processing solutions using Python or Spark
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes within Snowflake
• Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to understand and address data requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Snowflake and associated systems
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Snowflake data warehouse
• Strong proficiency in Python or Apache Spark for data processing
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Redshift
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Snowflake certification(s) is a plus
