About the position

Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves requirements analysis, design, and development of software solutions, creating high-level design artifacts, and delivering high-quality deliverables for a module. The position also includes leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Create high-level design artifacts for software solutions.
• Deliver high-quality deliverables for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and expertise in data quality, master data management, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake development, Teradata, Denodo, or other data warehouse technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Experience with data modeling and database design.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
