About the position

The Snowflake/Python Lead position is focused on leading data integration activities, including the architecture, design, coding, and testing of data solutions. The role requires expertise in Snowflake and Python, with a strong emphasis on performance tuning and troubleshooting of data pipelines. The candidate will guide the team in implementing data warehouse solutions and must possess excellent communication and presentation skills to demonstrate proposed solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Experience in data integration activities including architecting, designing, coding, and testing phases.
• Architect the data warehouse and provide guidance to the team on implementing it using Snowflake, Hadoop, or other big data technologies.
• Good scripting knowledge techniques using Python.
• Experience in performance tuning of the snow pipelines and should be able to troubleshoot the issue.
• Should be able to demonstrate the proposed solution, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and implementing a fully operational solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse or Hadoop.
• Experience with Python and a major relational database.
• Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to problem solve and convert requirements to design.
• Work experience in optimizing the performance of Spark jobs.
