About the position

As a Snr Manager, Global Product Management at ASM, you'll take ownership of a broad portfolio of responsibilities that go beyond traditional roles in the semiconductor industry. You'll have the autonomy to drive product management and technical marketing activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities

  • Drive the product life cycle from concept to high-volume manufacturing to obsolescence.
  • Maintain product roadmaps, align priorities and resources, and update strategies through customer and expert discussions.
  • Lead technical meetings with customers, create and manage presentations, and conduct detailed market and competitive analyses.
  • Own Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) documents to ensure alignment with product development priorities and customer needs.
  • Develop market strategies for R&D investment proposals and executive presentations.
  • Collaborate with finance to analyze NPV and IRR for products and maintain cost of ownership models.
  • Prepare business forecasts, operation review materials, and support budget planning with insights from market analyses.
  • Conduct detailed market analyses, align executive teams, and position new products for success.
  • Partner with suppliers to develop key capabilities for new products.
  • Create promotional materials, deliver sales training, and support product introductions to customers.

Requirements

  • Around 10 years of overall experience in semiconductor or capital equipment industry with 4-5 years of experience in product management or program management.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Material Science, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor processes, hardware, or device development.
  • High proficiency in capital equipment systems for semiconductor or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and technical marketing principles.
  • Experience in direct customer engagement and supplier management.
  • Ability to work across multiple internal disciplines and manage a product portfolio.
  • Availability to travel globally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ALD or CVD technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex projects under pressure with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for contributing to every stage of the product lifecycle.
