About the position

The Senior Manager of MLOps Engineering will lead a team focused on developing and optimizing AI/ML platforms within a leading financial institution. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on technical execution, aiming to enhance the firm's AI capabilities through innovative solutions and best practices in MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Designing the strategic direction for the firm's AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms.
• Leading a team of experienced AI/ML/MLOps Engineers to deliver innovative solutions and solve complex problems within the financial services sector.
• Building and maintaining containerized runtime environments for AI/ML workloads.
• Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to implement best-in-class tools and technologies.
• Implementing MLOps best practices to create seamless deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proven experience of deep expertise with GPUs and related technologies like CUDA.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong leadership abilities, coupled with a passion for solving intricate technical challenges.
• Experience managing a team, projects, or new platform initiatives.
• Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical work.
