About the position

As a SOC Design and Integration Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the design and integration of System on Chip (SOC) technologies. This position involves collaborating with various engineering teams to develop innovative hardware solutions that enhance customer experiences. You will be responsible for writing specifications, implementing complex logic designs, and ensuring high-quality integration of various components within the SOC.

Responsibilities

• Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications
• Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs
• Integrate complex IPs into the SOC
• Support all front end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO
• Collaborate with other engineers in SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, Emulation, STA, and Physical Design teams
• Work with software and systems teams to ensure a high-quality end product

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 3 years of experience in chip development
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of the chip development process
• Proficiency in front end tools and methodologies
• Experience writing specifications and converting them to design
• Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces
• Knowledge of system architecture, CPU & IP Integration, and power and clock management designs
• Ability to communicate effectively across all internal groups

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with software and operating concepts
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl, Python, or Tcl
