About the position

The SoC Verification Engineer will be part of Arm's Solution Engineering team, collaborating with RTL design and verification engineers across multiple countries to develop cutting-edge silicon demonstrators. This role focuses on verifying the functional correctness of next-generation compute solutions, utilizing innovative technologies and methodologies to ensure high-quality performance in mobile, infrastructure, and automotive markets.

Responsibilities

• Build functional verification strategies and write test plans.
• Define test methodologies and improve verification methodologies.
• Complete functional verification to required quality levels and schedules.
• Collaborate with project management on planning tasks and setting schedules.
• Work with engineers from various disciplines including architecture, design, and silicon validation.
• Support junior team members and provide effective leadership.
• Communicate clearly with peers and partners across multiple fields.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in SoC verification environments.
• Proficient in embedded C, assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, and hardware verification languages (e.g., SystemVerilog).
• Experienced in verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM/eRM, formal verification, and emulation.
• Exposure to all stages of verification including requirements collection and testbench implementation.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Practical experience in processor-based system design.
• Familiarity with verification process such as Test Plan and Testcase development.
• Strong understanding of CPU architecture/micro-architectures.
• Experience in Unix/Linux working environments.
