About the position

The SOBA Programs Manager at the University of South Carolina Aiken is responsible for overseeing the operations of both graduate and undergraduate programs within the School of Business Administration. This role includes managing student services, advising, and coordinating with various university departments to ensure a smooth academic experience for students. The manager will also support recruitment efforts and assist in the development of program materials and events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Program Manager for SOBA graduate programs, acting as the primary contact for various university offices regarding graduate student concerns.
• Provide academic advising for SOBA graduate students and manage the flow of student requests.
• Serve as the Program Manager for SOBA undergraduate programs, coordinating degree checkouts and managing undergraduate student inquiries.
• Support recruitment efforts for both graduate and undergraduate programs and manage databases of students in business programs.
• Assist the dean with special SOBA projects and provide support for SOBA events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
• Knowledge of university policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
