About the position

As a Silicon Program Manager within the Hardware Technology Engineering organization at Apple, you will be responsible for driving front-end silicon program schedules and resolving technical issues that enable timely silicon delivery. This individual contributor role focuses on the initial phases of architecture, specifications, design, and pre-silicon prototyping to initial samples, ensuring effective HW-SW integration methodology and automation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive front-end silicon program schedules and resolve technical issues for timely silicon delivery.
  • Manage the development process for SOC silicon used in next-generation Apple products.
  • Develop scripts and automation for scalable pre and post silicon SOC methodology.
  • Interface and drive silicon work and issues across multi-functional teams including Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Hardware, Operations, and Software.
  • Manage dependencies across various programs, functional teams, and sites.
  • Report focused issues, track bugs, and communicate program risks and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SoC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, or Technology process development.
  • Experience integrating Hardware/Software or Hardware/Firmware development.
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Strong multi-tasking and real-time crisis management skills.
  • Technical Program or Project Management experience.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with IP-XACT as an IP exchange format.
