The Social/Clinical Research Assistant position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill involves supporting research initiatives within the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. Responsibilities

  • Assist the supervisor and Principal Investigator (PI) of the National Core Indicators Project.
  • Collect information from subjects for research purposes.
  • Create and manage databases for the project.
  • Serve as a research assistant to the NC-LEND program.
  • Compile information and create reports from appointment data.
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate research status to the PI and research team.
  • Present compiled information to project staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of research principles and methods related to survey data collection, data entry, and data management.
  • Familiarity with computer and information technology systems for data collection and entry.
  • Ability to compile information and create reports from data.
  • Proficiency in using Windows computing environments and databases.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data review and management.
  • Effective communication skills to explain research status.
