About the position

The Social Community Specialist is an associate-level role focused on managing and enhancing customer relationships through various social media channels for a client in the Home Building Industry. This position requires a blend of social media expertise and customer service skills, with responsibilities including content creation, social reporting, and community management. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite work three days a week in Buckhead, Atlanta, and involves occasional weekend hours for social media engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer interactions on all active social media channels across six brands.
  • Adhere to social best practices and brand voice while creating content and reporting on social media performance.
  • Develop supplemental content to be shared with followers of different brands.
  • Manage comments and conversations within social media channels and triage communication by department.
  • Actively monitor brand sentiment and audience responsiveness to content.
  • Develop and execute reports to help internal teams understand social conversations and highlight concerns.
  • Assist the Customer Care team with directing customer warranty concerns and stepping in for the National Customer Care Manager when needed.
  • Research and manage influencer relationships, including communication with the legal team on payments and contracts.
  • Encourage user-generated content and respond positively to it.
  • Work with the social media manager to send surprise gifts to active homeowners on social media.
  • Review social content created by agency partners to ensure adherence to social strategy and best practices.
  • Support field marketing counterparts in evaluating social materials and guiding them on social best practices.
  • Communicate and execute Facebook Live events with field marketers.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of social media and/or customer service-related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field.
  • Experience using native and third-party social listening and management platforms.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and implement data reporting to reach goals.
  • Creative writing skills with the ability to write in diverse tones and voices.
  • Understanding of perspectives from both fans and brands for community management.
  • Knowledge of social tracking aggregators like Hootsuite and SproutSocial.
  • Experience with native social platform interfaces and popular networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Photoshop and Canva.
