About the position

The Social Media Account Manager at Leaddog Digital is responsible for managing the social media presence of 5-10 clients, focusing on content creation, community engagement, and analytics reporting. This role requires creativity and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team. The position offers opportunities for growth in digital marketing, particularly in managing paid Meta campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly content calendar planning
  • Creating social posts including creative and copywriting
  • Collaborating with clients to gather & create original content (includes some photography, videography, and graphic design)
  • Community engagement monitoring & management
  • Providing data analysis and metric reporting for your accounts
  • Working collaboratively with the team to develop social media strategies to grow followers and engagement for our clients
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activity
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media insights to guide future strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field of study or 1-2 years of social media management experience
  • Strong creative and grammatical writing skills
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Basic math skills are required for analytics & budget management when applicable
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Skills in graphic design, video editing, and photography are a plus
  • Proficiency in the Meta platforms; experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Premier, and/or Illustrator is a plus
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to think critically and analyze data & performance
  • Results-oriented, self-driven & internally motivated

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public relations
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator for creating graphics
  • Basic video editing skills are preferred
