About the position

The Social Media and Content Marketing Manager at Zero Motorcycles plays a crucial role in the Marketing Team, focusing on developing and implementing strategies for social media content and community growth. This position involves managing social media initiatives, contributing to event production, and creating video content, all while ensuring alignment with the brand's tone and voice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage content calendars for social platforms.
  • Post across all social media platforms using sourced and produced content.
  • Engage with and nurture community via comments and messages across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with global marketing team to organize and streamline assets.
  • Lead video production planning and execution for internal needs and social media campaigns, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
  • Measure key social metrics: growth, engagement, and sentiment.
  • Manage relationships with content creators and influencers.
  • Help shape and maintain brand tone and voice.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to address owner-related social media concerns.
  • Leverage experience to contribute to content production support.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand growth and innovation.
  • Assist in event production and event-focused content creation as required.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in social media marketing with a strong understanding of platforms and tools.
  • Great communication skills to ensure alignment both cross-departmentally and externally.
  • Strong understanding of the motorcycle industry and adjacent communities.
  • Experience in video production, including planning, storyboarding, editing, and optimizing for social platforms.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing and problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor or Marketing degree is a plus but not required.
  • Motorcycle endorsement is encouraged but not required.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
