About the position

The Social Media and Marketing Supervisor at Larks Entertainment is responsible for enhancing the company's social media presence and fostering relationships within the local community. This role involves capturing engaging content, managing social media activities, and collaborating with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.

Responsibilities

• Take photos (or boomerangs) regularly and upload into share folder as well as post on socials (average 20 a week)
• Take videos (short clips for tik toks or reels) regularly and upload into share folder as well as post on socials (average 15 a week)
• Take advantage of busy days and special events to maximize efforts and take a lot of pictures to store in a library
• Create appropriate and engaging captions and hashtags
• Interact (through social media) and create relationships with other local businesses
• Manage daily social media activities, including posting updates, responding to comments, and engaging with followers
• Continue outreach efforts by partaking in networking events, social gatherings, and charitable groups
• Join in local festivals and markets, set up booths and pass out flyers to talk about Larks
• Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.

Requirements

• The ability to take a high quality photo - iPhone or iPad
• Must have a point of view of the images so they are consistent with the brand
• Eye for detail, composition, storytelling ability
• Must be able to collaborate and have strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management
• Ability to post on socials
• Copywriting skills
