In the realm of social media, the Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the E-Commerce Manager to brainstorm and create on-brand content that resonates with our audience. This includes managing a living social media calendar, monitoring trends, and analyzing performance metrics to refine our strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various social media platforms and the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement and brand loyalty. On the retail sales side, the Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the in-store customer experience. This includes building and nurturing relationships with clients, contributing to sales goals, and ensuring that the boutique maintains its reputation for exceptional service. The role also involves receiving and processing new merchandise deliveries, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing. Additionally, the e-commerce responsibilities include cropping and editing product photos, writing engaging descriptions for the website, and utilizing Photoshop to create weekly email communications for our client base. The Assistant Manager will also step in to manage the e-commerce business during the E-Commerce Manager's absence, ensuring continuity and support for our online customers.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager to create on-brand content for social media.
  • Manage and maintain a living social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics and incorporate learnings into our strategy.
  • Assist with the in-store customer service experience.
  • Contribute to the store's sales by developing strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Receive and process deliveries of new merchandise.
  • Crop and edit photos and write descriptions for new products on the website.
  • Utilize Photoshop to create one email per week to send to our client base.
  • Manage the e-commerce business when the E-Commerce Manager is on vacation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of luxury retail sales experience
  • Creative and collaborative by nature
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms
  • Organized, detail-oriented and enjoys multi-tasking
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Photoshop
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
