About the position

Krista K Boutique, established in 2002, is one of Chicago's premier upscale women's clothing and accessories boutiques. We are currently seeking a dynamic and multi-talented individual to fill the role of Social Media and Retail Sales Assistant Manager. This unique position combines the responsibilities of creating engaging social media content, providing exceptional customer service in our boutique, and assisting with our e-commerce operations through our website, www.kristak.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women's fashion, retail sales, and social media management, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our E-Commerce Manager to brainstorm and develop on-brand content for our social media platforms. You will be responsible for managing a living social media calendar, monitoring trends and analytics, and incorporating insights into our overall strategy. Your creativity and ability to stay ahead of social media trends will be crucial in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our clientele. On the retail side, you will assist in providing an outstanding in-store customer service experience, contributing to the store's sales by building strong relationships with both existing and new clients. You will also be involved in receiving and processing deliveries of new merchandise, ensuring that our boutique remains well-stocked and visually appealing. In terms of e-commerce responsibilities, you will crop and edit product photos, write compelling descriptions for new items on our website, and utilize Photoshop to create weekly emails for our client base. Additionally, you will manage the e-commerce business in the absence of the E-Commerce Manager, ensuring continuity and excellence in our online operations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of luxury retail sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys multi-tasking
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
