About the position

As the Social Media Channel Manager at Achieve, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand's visibility and engagement across consumer social forums. This position involves being the authentic voice of Achieve, leading internal collaborations to promote the brand, and driving product engagement through both paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media culture, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of fostering positive online interactions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary brand voice and orchestrator of voice in User Generated Content (UGC) social forums.
  • Monitor brand and category mentions on UGC social forums and drive a positive brand and category sentiment via community interactions.
  • Engage authentically with relevant communities, answering questions, participating in discussions, and sharing content.
  • Partner with internal teams to plan, implement, and manage Reddit paid advertising and organic campaigns.
  • Monitor performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Optimize key metrics including brand and category reach, sentiment, traffic, and leads from UGC social forums.
  • Lead internal teams to build systems, capabilities, and tooling to achieve results.
  • Maintain a success playbook for UGC social forums and continuously learn from external experts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of social media management experience for a prominent consumer brand managing UGC social forums.
  • In-depth knowledge of top social media forums and engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrable results in growing brand prominence and positive sentiment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to use metrics and insights to inform engagement strategies.
  • Authentic communication skills with the ability to influence diverse online communities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent from a top 20 ranked university.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consumer financial services is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Quid.com).
  • Creative problem-solving skills to enhance brand presence on social media.
  • Adaptability to pivot strategies based on community feedback.
