About the position

The Social Media & Community Engagement Manager is responsible for enhancing the digital and local presence of Barberi International's brands, Lulu and Mayte. This role combines social media management with community outreach, focusing on measurable results in engagement, growth, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving and surpassing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement impactful social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Own the content creation process by planning, producing, and publishing innovative posts, graphics, and videos that align with brand identity.
  • Actively engage with and grow the online community by responding to messages and comments promptly.
  • Identify and secure high-impact local event opportunities in Miami to build community connections and brand visibility.
  • Capture and share event content across social media channels to engage followers and showcase brand activities.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics continuously and optimize strategies to increase engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Proactively pursue partnerships and collaborations with influencers, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment on brand messaging and campaign objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, community engagement, or related field with a proven track record of delivering tangible results.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, exhibiting creativity, ambition, and a goal-oriented approach.
  • Strong familiarity with the Miami market and an established or quickly adaptable network within the community.
  • Excellent content creation skills, including basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video production.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both online and in-person, with a knack for engaging diverse audiences.
