About the position

As a Social Media & Community Manager at Macs Adventure, you will play a pivotal role in driving the community, advocacy, and emotional loyalty of our brand through a comprehensive global organic social media strategy. This full-time position is based in Denver, CO, and requires you to work in the office at least two days a week. You will collaborate closely with the talented members of the Global Marketing Team to develop and deliver engaging content that resonates with our audience and elevates our brand presence in the market. Your responsibilities will include community management, total follower acquisition, influencer partnerships, and organizing US-focused events that align with our brand's mission and values. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the organic social media strategy, which includes content development, posting, and promoting across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and Pinterest. You will also manage the Macs Adventure Facebook Community Group, ensuring active engagement and timely responses to comments and inquiries. Additionally, you will lead the influencer program, identifying new content partners and facilitating relationships that enhance our brand visibility. Your role will also involve assessing and measuring content performance through engagement metrics, allowing you to optimize strategies and pivot as necessary. You will plan and execute local events that align with our broader marketing strategy, participating in relevant trade shows and community gatherings to promote our brand. As the local representative for our US-based PR agency, you will handle quick-turn communications and support public relations efforts. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the organic social media strategy, including planning, content development, and execution across various channels.
  • Manage community engagement on social media platforms and the Macs Adventure Facebook Community Group.
  • Lead the Macs Adventure influencer program, identifying new content partners and facilitating relationships.
  • Drive follower acquisition targets on social media channels and the Facebook Community Group through innovative campaigns.
  • Assess and measure content performance using engagement metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Plan and execute local US events aligned with the marketing strategy and budget.
  • Support US Public Relations by serving as the local representative for quick-turn communications.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years' experience in social media management, influencer programs, and community management for a consumer brand.
  • Experience in supporting PR and communications tasks, including media requests and working with external agency partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and passion for coordinating events.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and comfort with receiving feedback.
  • Confident communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Learning and growth-oriented mindset, motivated to advance in the role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working within a global team across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Comfort with light content editing for social media.
