About the position

As a Social Media Community Manager at our rapidly growing beverage company, you will be at the forefront of our digital presence, engaging with our audience and shaping our brand's voice across various social media platforms. This role is not just about keeping up with trends; it's about setting them. You will be responsible for curating content that resonates with our target audience, from TikTok challenges to Instagram Stories that capture attention. Your creativity and strategic thinking will play a crucial role in developing engaging content that aligns with our company's objectives and speaks to the masses. In this position, you will manage the editorial calendar and oversee the production and scheduling of social content, ensuring quality assurance at every step. Collaboration with the marketing team will be essential as you develop original, channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns across our social media channels. You will create meaningful engagement and foster consistent conversations on social media, building community and brand advocacy through interaction and relevant content. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you monitor and measure performance, providing weekly reports to executives on key performance indicators. You will also collaborate with the paid digital team to identify and leverage paid social media opportunities. Staying ahead of social trends, understanding the competitive landscape, and being in tune with Gen Z culture will be vital as you bring fresh ideas to the table. Additionally, you will create a comprehensive social media brand guidelines book for all stakeholders to ensure brand integrity and compliance in all content produced.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging content that aligns with the company's objectives and target audience.
  • Write clear, compelling copy that reflects brand voices and values.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, social content production, scheduling content, and quality assurance.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop original, channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns on our social media channels, ensuring content and brand consistency.
  • Create meaningful engagement and consistent conversation on social media through relevant and educational content that continues to resonate with our highly engaged audience.
  • Build community and brand advocacy through engagement and interaction.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities to elevate & define distinct roles for content on each social platform to build brand equity.
  • Monitor, measure, and continually update best practices and analysis of performance through weekly reporting to executives, communicating strategy and progress of key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the paid digital team to help identify and leverage any paid social media opportunities.
  • Be on the pulse of social trends, competitive landscape, Gen Z culture, and new social platforms to bring new ideas to the forefront.
  • Create a comprehensive social media brand guidelines book for all stakeholders to reference, adhere to, and apply in all social media and influencer efforts.
  • Maintain brand integrity and compliance with content produced.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience within the content creation digital space or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and grammar with a strong portfolio.
  • Thorough knowledge of the social media marketing industry, strategies, and tactics.
  • Ability to assist in the development of strategic social marketing plans.
  • Deep experience and knowledge of social platforms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws and intellectual property laws.
  • Proven experience in measuring, recapping ROI, and replicating best practice conversion tactics.
  • Analytical skills, CPG experience, or social media certifications are a plus such as Meta Social or Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy, and/or YouTube Certified.
