About the position

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that highlights the services, expertise, and brand values of our wellness med spa. This role involves creating engaging content, including posts, reels, and stories, as well as editing videos and images to enhance our online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, and will be able to work both independently and collaboratively with the marketing team and local businesses to drive engagement and growth. In this position, the Social Media Content Creator will develop and create original content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. They will design and produce visually appealing posts, reels, stories, and videos that align with the brand's voice and aesthetic. Writing compelling captions and post descriptions that resonate with the target audience is also a key responsibility. The role requires editing and optimizing videos and images for social media, ensuring high-quality, engaging content that is on trend or unique. Additionally, the Social Media Content Creator will manage the scheduling and publishing of content across all social media platforms, maintaining a consistent posting schedule. They will monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement on social media platforms in a timely manner. The candidate will also track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on engagement, growth, and areas for improvement. Staying updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices is essential to ensure content remains relevant and effective. Collaboration with professional staff members and influencers will be necessary to capture and highlight services, events, and experiences, as well as to create collaborative content that extends the reach of the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement on social media platforms in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and local businesses to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on engagement, growth, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
  • Work closely with professional staff members to capture and highlight the services, events, and experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative content, including posts, reels, stories, and edited videos.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Canva).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Spanish.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
