About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at Longhorn Tactical is responsible for producing engaging video and photo content for various social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This role involves creating fresh and innovative content that tells the brand's story and resonates with the audience, while also engaging with the community and analyzing content performance to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and entertaining content for social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
• Develop content ranging from quick 30-second clips to longer, 5-8 minute videos, covering topics like Q&A, tutorials, and creative pieces.
• Run solo creative projects with autonomy, producing content that resonates with the audience.
• Actively engage with the community by responding to comments and questions on social media.
• Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Comfortable presenting in front of the camera.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in video content creation for social media channels from concept to editing.
• Minimum one year of video editing skills for short and long form videos.
• Minimum one year of experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Minimum one year of experience in social media management.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in relevant fields.
• Must pass a background check.
