About the position

Cydcor is seeking a Social Media Content Creator who is passionate about social media and has a keen understanding of the latest trends. This role is pivotal in enhancing the brand's presence across various social media platforms by creating engaging content that resonates with the audience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filming, photographing, and organizing content that reflects the brand's unique vision and voice. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the Branding team to manage the content calendar and ensure that all relevant business activities are captured effectively. In this position, you will be tasked with creating content optimized for social media, paying close attention to current trends and innovative approaches. You will also conduct interviews with top executives and team members to narrate the Cydcor story, showcasing its past, present, and future. As a community manager, you will promote positive brand conversations, engage with followers, and monitor sentiment across all platforms. Your role will also involve discovering and implementing new technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and brand relevance. The Social Media Content Creator will analyze performance data to drive optimizations, testing new techniques and making recommendations to shift resources towards top-performing posts. This position requires a high level of creativity, organization, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor. You will be expected to travel occasionally for events and activities that require content capture, and your work will significantly contribute to the overall growth and development of the Cydcor brand.

Responsibilities

  • Film, shoot and organize photo and video content for all social media platforms.
  • Manage the content calendar, partnering with the CEO, Leadership & Branding teams to ensure relevant content is captured.
  • Create content optimized for social media, paying attention to trends and representing the brand's unique vision.
  • Interview top executives and team members on camera to tell the Cydcor story.
  • Partner with the branding agency to deliver accurate and engaging content.
  • Act as community manager across all platforms, promoting positive brand conversation and engagement.
  • Monitor social platforms for replies, comments, and general sentiment, crafting responses when necessary.
  • Discover and implement new technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and brand relevance.
  • Drive optimizations by testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and making recommendations.

Requirements

  • Experience communicating with executives and working closely with talent to capture social content.
  • Experience in photo and video shoot production or developing creative work for digital media.
  • Experience creating, editing, and optimizing social-first content.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with various social media editing tools.
  • High-level creative judgment and an eye for quality, taste, and style.
  • Excellent project management skills and exceptional communication and organization.
  • Outgoing, professional, flexible, and solution-oriented.
  • Extremely organized, proactive, and able to pivot when priorities shift.
  • Ability to direct talent on set when needed.
  • High emotional intelligence - ability to give and receive constructive criticism.

Nice-to-haves
