About the position

Pelican New Orleans is seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator to elevate our digital presence across our brands: Cajun Encounters, New Orleans Legendary Walking Tours, and Seven Three Distilling Company. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a passion for videography and content creation, capable of producing engaging videos and images for our marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals.
• Plan and execute comprehensive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media, email, and display advertising, with a focus on visual content.
• Maintain an engaging social media presence across all platforms, optimizing posts for maximum reach and engagement.
• Measure and report on the performance of content and campaigns, using analytics to assess ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Identify emerging trends and insights in social media and content creation, and implement innovative strategies to drive growth.
• Work with internal teams to develop landing pages and optimize the user experience through effective visual storytelling.
• Plan, execute, and analyze experiments and conversion tests to enhance audience engagement and conversion rates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography, video editing, and social media content creation.
• Strong understanding of current digital marketing tools and strategies.
• Ability to lead integrated campaigns from concept to execution.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate customer experiences across multiple channels.
• Creative mindset with the ability to brainstorm and implement new growth strategies.
