About the position
The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for managing and growing the company's social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This role focuses on creating engaging and impactful content that resonates with the audience, particularly in the mental health and recovery spaces. The position is part-time and contract-based, starting with a two-week trial period.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with the company's goals and brand messaging.
- Utilize design ideas and existing content to create high-quality social media content for various platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to highlight user testimonials, team stories, and recovery resources.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics to inform content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and mission across all content.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating and managing content for social media platforms.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and audience engagement.
- Familiarity or experience with the recovery, mental health, or wellness space preferred.
- Ability to analyze and report on social media metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset.
