About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at Reed Family Companies is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to enhance the company's presence across various social media platforms. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and strategic thinking to effectively engage and grow the audience. The position involves collaboration with the marketing team, content creation, video editing, and analytics monitoring to ensure successful social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop a content strategy to guide social media content creation and distribution.
• Shoot and edit video content, including selecting footage, cutting and arranging clips, adding sound and music, and incorporating special effects and animations using Adobe Premiere and other video editing tools.
• Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia content.
• Collaborate with other team members of the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Engage with followers and build a strong community around the brand through social media interactions and conversations.
• Monitor and report on social media analytics and key performance indicators to track the success of social media efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices and integrate new technologies and platforms as appropriate.
• Manage and maintain the social media content calendar and schedule content in advance.
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects and multiple brands simultaneously.
• Work with influencers and other brand partners to co-create content and build mutually beneficial relationships.
• Design and develop custom websites using Wix and WordPress platforms.
• Create visually appealing designs that are optimized for user experience using Adobe Photoshop and other image editing tools.
• Ensure that websites are mobile-responsive and compatible with different mobile platforms and web browsers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a social media content creator or similar role.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
• Strong creative writing, editing, and design skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret social media analytics and use data to inform content decisions.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and other graphic design applications.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred.
