About the position

The Social Media Content Creator will play a vital role in enhancing the brand presence of Southern Alternative, a small online boutique specializing in unique and stylish clothing and accessories. This position involves creating engaging content for various social media platforms, staying updated on fashion trends, and collaborating with the team to develop marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and engage with our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments
• Create engaging video content, including try-on videos and styling tips
• Develop visually appealing clothing flat lays for social media and website use
• Assist in crafting marketing strategies and posting schedules to optimize engagement
• Collaborate with the team on brand campaigns and promotional events
• Analyze social media performance and suggest improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media content creation, preferably in the fashion industry
• Strong understanding of current fashion trends and consumer behavior
• Proficient in video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Comfortable and confident on camera
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
