About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at KAR Creative is responsible for developing engaging visual narratives that resonate with clients' audiences. This part-time role involves managing the video production process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with each client's brand and marketing objectives. The position requires creativity, project management skills, and collaboration with team members to produce high-quality video content that drives brand engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video content trends and incorporate them into client projects.
  • Generate and pitch creative ideas for video content tailored to each client's brand and audience.
  • Determine the visual style and props needed to bring video concepts to life.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that align with client goals and brand aesthetics.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their vision and requirements for video content.
  • Handle grocery shopping and procurement of materials needed for video shoots.
  • Send completed videos to the appropriate team members for review and ensure they are integrated into the content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop innovative content ideas.
  • Attend team meetings and incorporate feedback from the Creative Director and Social Media Strategist to refine and improve video content.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Strategist to align video content with broader marketing and content strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media content production and editing.
  • Proficiency in social media video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong ability to conceptualize and create engaging video content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Keen awareness of social media trends and the ability to adapt to changing digital landscapes.

Nice-to-haves

  • A degree in Film, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
