About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at Paul Gough Media is a full-time role focused on developing and implementing the company's social media marketing strategy. This position involves working directly with the CEO to enhance the online presence and engagement of the brand. The ideal candidate will contribute to building an engaged online community through creative content creation, video editing, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Developing, designing, scheduling, and uploading unique content and social posts across various platforms.
• Using CRM management to develop automated email marketing, funnels, and webinars.
• Collaborating with the web designer to create sales pages for future content.
• Writing and editing content for emails, blog posts, and social media copy.
• Editing videos for social media and YouTube optimization.
• Identifying campaign-level opportunities to improve or scale performance.
• Monitoring social media audience responses and trends, making strategy and content recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Digital Media, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years' experience in marketing or communication.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative writing skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Great video editing knowledge.
• Familiarity with film equipment including lighting, DSLR, and audio.
