About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at CyberPowerPC is responsible for developing engaging video and static content for social media and advertising. This role requires creativity, an understanding of social media trends, and the ability to produce content that resonates with the gaming culture. The ideal candidate will work autonomously to create a content calendar, manage social media communications, and generate performance reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop video and static content for social media and advertising.
• Create scripts and direct talent during content creation.
• Manage social media communications excluding technical and sales-related comments.
• Generate weekly reports of social media posts and relevant statistics for management review.
• Create a full calendar of social media content to produce.
• Develop serialized content series, such as weekly gaming discussions.
• Engage with fans at events to generate content for social media.

Requirements

• Experience in standard video content creation, both short and long-form.
• Ability to recreate the videography and graphic styles of the brand.
• Production skills in videography, camera operation, lighting, color grading, and sound capture.
• Comfortable creating content with both an iPhone and a professional camera.
• Proven track record of successful engagement in a portfolio of social media content.
• Familiarity with social media content production tools such as Canva and Capcut.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in film production is a plus.
• Video editing and production skills are a plus.
