About the position

PEG Music is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creator based in the Nashville greater metropolitan area. The role focuses on creating and developing engaging content for various social media platforms, particularly Instagram, to enhance brand awareness in the music industry. The ideal candidate should be creative, independent, and capable of working within a remote team to support independent artists.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop social media content for multiple platforms, especially Instagram.
• Increase engagement and following to build brand awareness in the music business.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
• Demonstrate content development experience through personal or professional social media platforms.
• Utilize Canva for content creation effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in social media management.
• 2 years of experience in social media strategy.
• 2 years of experience using Canva for content creation.
• 1 year of experience with TikTok.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or strong desire to work in the entertainment business, specifically in the music industry.
• Willingness to travel 50%.
