About the position

Oz Marketing is seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy. This role focuses on creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance the brand's online presence. The ideal candidate should be creative, data-driven, and passionate about social media, with a strong understanding of current trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written)
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a social way while cultivating leads and sales
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to meet business goals
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions
  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts
  • Oversee design elements such as cover images and profile pictures
  • Design and create social ad campaigns while monitoring their effectiveness
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements
  • Cover events live and in various locations across northern Utah

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or digital media with a minimum of one year experience preferred
  • Excellent creative idea generation, filming, editing (photo/video/text), writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve 19, and CapCut preferred
  • Ability to work with an editor and revise materials quickly
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO preferred
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Well-versed in various social media platforms
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • A degree in communications, marketing, business, new media, or public relations is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be logistically able to travel to dealerships and events
