This role is crucial for audience development for LancasterOnline, the primary source of local news in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and involves collaboration with journalists in a large newsroom committed to reader engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5-10 years' social media experience (content creation, publication, analytics, paid campaigns).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a mixed-media team environment.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven newsroom.
• Ability to adapt constructively and creatively to change.
• A firm grasp of current events.
• A keen interest in and knowledge of news competitors and partners.
• Thorough familiarity with journalism and libel law.
