About the position

The Social Media Content Moderator will be responsible for moderating user-generated content on client platforms, ensuring compliance with community guidelines while providing a positive social experience for users. This role involves reviewing graphic images, videos, and written content, escalating violations, and participating in continuous training to uphold high standards of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Review, classify, and eliminate sensitive content uploaded by users.
  • Investigate and resolve complex content issues within agreed turnaround times.
  • Participate in refresher training to implement correct policies.
  • Provide trends and insights for process improvements.
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies regarding customer information.
  • Remain updated on workflow changes and operational guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience navigating internet websites including social media and commercial sites.
  • Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work various shifts and be flexible with changing business needs.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and strong computer skills.
