About the position

As a Social Media Content Moderator at Teleperformance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive social experience for users by moderating user-generated content on our clients' platforms. This involves reviewing a variety of content types, including graphic images, videos, and written posts, to ensure compliance with community guidelines. Your responsibilities will include identifying and escalating any content that violates established parameters, thereby contributing to a safe and engaging online environment. In this position, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to interact with diverse individuals and utilize your skills in digital technology and social media. Continuous training will be provided to keep you updated on policies and best practices, ensuring that you are equipped to handle the challenges of moderating potentially sensitive or offensive content. Your role will also involve investigating and resolving complex content-related issues within specified turnaround times, while adhering to corporate confidentiality policies. You will be expected to provide insights and trends that can help improve processes and policies, making your contributions vital to the overall success of the team. This position is based on-site at our Port Saint Lucie, Florida location, and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in content moderation.

Responsibilities

  • Moderate user-generated content on clients' platforms by reviewing images, videos, and written content.
  • Ensure content meets community guidelines and escalate violations as necessary.
  • Participate in frequent refresher training to implement correct policies.
  • Comply with performance indicators defined by the client's operation.
  • Review, classify, and eliminate sensitive content uploaded by users according to client parameters.
  • Investigate and resolve complex content issues within agreed-upon turnaround times.
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies regarding customer information.
  • Participate in continuous training programs for optimal role development.
  • Provide trends and insights for process and policy improvements.
  • Stay updated on workflow changes, operational guidelines, and community standards.

Requirements

  • Experience navigating internet websites including social media and commercial sites.
  • Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Comfortable reviewing potentially inappropriate content.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and availability to work various shifts.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • High School Graduate or GED or higher (proof required).
  • Predictable and reliable attendance.
