About the position

As a Social Media Content Moderator at Teleperformance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive social experience for users by moderating user-generated content on our clients' platforms. This position requires you to review various types of content, including graphic images, videos, and written posts, to ensure they comply with community guidelines. Your responsibilities will include identifying and escalating any content that violates these guidelines, thereby contributing to a safe and engaging online environment. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, where no two days are the same. Your role will involve participating in frequent refresher training sessions to stay updated on policies and performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving complex content-related issues within agreed-upon turnaround times, ensuring that all actions comply with corporate confidentiality policies. In addition to content moderation, you will provide insights and trends to help improve overall processes and recommend enhancements to policies and products. This position is based on-site at our El Paso, Texas location, and requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in your work. Responsibilities

  • Moderate user-generated content on clients' platforms by reviewing graphic images, videos, and written content to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Escalate any content that violates community guidelines to the appropriate channels.
  • Participate in frequent refresher training to implement correct policies effectively.
  • Comply with performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation.
  • Review, classify, and eliminate highly sensitive content uploaded by users according to client-defined parameters.
  • Investigate and resolve complex content issues within agreed-upon turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies and ensure the security of customer information.
  • Participate in continuous training programs for optimal role development.
  • Stay updated on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates, and Community Standards.
  • Provide trends and insights to develop improvements to overall processes and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site at El Paso, Texas (not a work from home position).
  • Experience navigating internet websites, including social media and commercial websites.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Comfortable reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate or explicit.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and availability to work various shifts.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and strong computer skills to use multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Must be over 18 years of age and possess a High School Graduate or GED or higher (proof required).
  • Predictable and reliable attendance is essential.
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and work prioritization skills.
