About the position

As a Social Media Content Moderator at Teleperformance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive social experience for users by moderating user-generated content on our clients' platforms. This involves reviewing a variety of content types, including graphic images, videos, and written posts, to ensure compliance with community guidelines. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential as you classify and eliminate sensitive content that violates established parameters. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving complex content issues within agreed-upon turnaround times, ensuring that all actions comply with corporate confidentiality policies to protect customer information. In this dynamic role, you will participate in frequent refresher training to stay updated on the correct policies and performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation. Your ability to handle potentially traumatic and sensitive content with resilience and emotional intelligence will be key to your success. You will also have the opportunity to provide insights and trends that can lead to improvements in processes, policies, and products, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the moderation team. This position is based on-site at our El Paso, Texas location, and you will be expected to work various shifts as needed. Responsibilities

  • Moderate user-generated content on clients' platforms by reviewing graphic images, videos, and written content to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Participate in frequent refresher training to implement correct policies effectively.
  • Comply with performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation.
  • Review, classify, and eliminate highly sensitive content uploaded by users according to client-defined parameters.
  • Investigate and resolve complex content issues within agreed-upon turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies and ensure the security of customer information.
  • Participate in continuous training programs for optimal role development.
  • Moderate potentially traumatic and sensitive content while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
  • Provide trends and insights to develop improvements to overall processes and recommend policy and product enhancements.
  • Stay updated on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, and community standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work on-site in El Paso, Texas.
  • Experience navigating internet websites, including social media and commercial sites.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and ability to work various shifts.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Windows operating systems and multitasking across multiple programs.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and work prioritization skills.
