About the position

As a Social Media Content Moderator at Teleperformance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that user-generated content on our clients' platforms adheres to community guidelines. This position requires you to review a variety of content types, including graphic images, videos, and written posts, to ensure they meet the established standards. Your work will help create a positive social experience for all users, making it essential to uphold a high standard of accuracy and quality in your evaluations. You will participate in frequent refresher training sessions to stay updated on the correct policies and procedures. Compliance with performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation is vital, as is the ability to review, classify, and eliminate highly sensitive content uploaded by users. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving complex issues regarding content within agreed-upon turnaround times and quality standards. Maintaining confidentiality and proper handling of customer information is paramount to guarantee security. You will engage in continuous training programs established by the company to ensure optimal development in your role. Additionally, you will provide insights and trends to help improve overall processes and recommend enhancements to policies and products. Staying informed about key workflow changes, operational guidelines, and community standards will be part of your daily responsibilities. This position is onsite at our Boise, Idaho location, and it offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities

  • Moderate user-generated content on clients' platforms by reviewing graphic images, videos, and written content to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Participate in frequent refresher training to implement correct policies effectively.
  • Comply with performance indicators defined by the specific client's operation.
  • Review, classify, and eliminate highly sensitive content uploaded by users according to client parameters.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues regarding content within agreed-upon turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies and ensure proper handling of customer information.
  • Participate in continuous training programs for optimal role development.
  • Comply with all orders, instructions, and procedures related to the role.
  • Moderate traumatic, sensitive, and potentially offensive content.
  • Provide trends and insights to develop improvements to overall processes and recommend enhancements for policies and products.
  • Stay updated on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, and policy updates.

Requirements

  • Experience navigating internet websites including social media and commercial websites.
  • Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Comfortable reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate or explicit.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Logical problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work various shifts.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to use multiple windows and/or programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • High School Graduate or GED or higher (proof required).
  • Predictable and reliable attendance.
