About the position
As a Social Media Content Moderator at Alorica, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that user-generated content adheres to community standards and company policies. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing various types of content, interpreting guidelines, and escalating issues as necessary. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle potentially graphic content while maintaining professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Review content (video, image, text) and conduct quality control to ensure compliance with local policies and regulations.
- Become knowledgeable about online community standards.
- Interpret and apply complex policies and guidelines to content.
- Review reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality.
- Escalate issues that fall outside of company policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong computer navigational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to handle viewing graphic and potentially disturbing content.
- Ability to react quickly and effectively with high attention to detail and fast learning ability.
- Good understanding of social media pop culture.
- Proven experience in overcoming unexpected difficulties and using logical problem-solving skills.
