About the position

The Social Media & Content Specialist at Degy Entertainment is a vital member of the marketing team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies. This remote position focuses on content creation, community management, and social strategy to enhance engagement and storytelling across various platforms. The role involves managing social media channels, creating visually appealing content, tracking analytics, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all social media channels across affiliated companies.
  • Conceptualize, curate, and create robust and unique posts that meet defined objectives.
  • Create visually appealing content in Canva, Capcut, or the Adobe Creative Suite for each platform that supports the overall strategy and follows brand guidelines.
  • Maintain consistent and regular engagement across all channels including posting content, monitoring and replying to comments, and returning messages.
  • Increase social followers, elevate overall online activity, and optimize performance of channels.
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve quality and use of communication channels.
  • Create, update, and manage weekly and monthly content calendars.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute strategy.
  • Stay current on all of the latest social media updates and trends.
  • Create and implement a paid social media strategy for each platform.
  • Alert Marketing Director and management of concerns related to any online issues.
  • Establish and manage relationships with social media influencers, content creators, partners, and roster artists.
  • Participate in other marketing strategies relating to website, company app, and other technology platforms.
  • Pull social performance analytics and insights to prepare regular reports for management team members.
  • Track content against KPIs to report back to the team.
  • Educate team members on best practices and new social features.
  • Make recommendations on actionable data to further marketing strategy to help impact sales.
  • Learn and actively use company's marketing tools such as Pardot (Salesforce) or any similar tool used by the company to track metrics and automate marketing strategies.
  • Oversee any direct reports which could include interns, skillbridge associates, and other general staff assigned by management.
  • Lead with a positive attitude and an ability to handle an intense schedule, fast-paced environment, and off-hours requests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional social media marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of managing effective social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to participate right from the start.
  • Working knowledge and comfort with all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM and SEO tools like Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, WordPress, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Capcut.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Asana (project management tool).
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, home office environment.
