About the position

The Social Media Creative Associate will play a crucial role in enhancing the e-commerce creative strategy for a health, wellness, and beauty supplement brand. This position involves creating engaging social media content, managing multiple accounts, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize strategies. The ideal candidate should have experience in graphic design and a strong understanding of social media trends, particularly in the wellness sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with brand identity and appeals to the target audience.
  • Design graphics and visuals using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar to create eye-catching posts, stories, and short videos that highlight product benefits and brand values.
  • Write compelling captions and create calls-to-action that drive engagement and support the brand's voice and tone.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly to increase brand interaction and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Build relationships with followers and influencers, engaging with relevant health and wellness communities to grow brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Assist in identifying and fostering influencer partnerships that align with brand objectives and reach target audiences.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (engagement rate, follower growth, reach, conversions, etc.) for all social media activities and campaigns.
  • Use insights from analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) to adjust content and posting strategies based on performance and audience behavior.
  • Regularly report on social media performance to the marketing team, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing future content.
  • Support the digital marketing team in coordinating with external agencies for paid social media campaigns, SEO, and PPC efforts, ensuring messaging is consistent across channels.
  • Assist with reviewing and providing feedback on agency content and strategy proposals to align with brand goals and voice.
  • Help track the effectiveness of agency campaigns, providing data and feedback to enhance the efficiency of digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay updated on current health and wellness trends, industry news, and competitor activities to inform content and keep the brand relevant.
  • Conduct regular research on social media best practices and emerging platforms or tools to enhance the brand's social media presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities for content themes, seasonal campaigns, and trending topics.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in social media management, particularly in the health, wellness, or beauty industries.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific features.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the supplement industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.
