About the position

The Social Media Creative Director at Intuit Credit Karma is responsible for enhancing the brand's creative expression on social media, ensuring messaging consistency across various product areas. This role involves collaborating with a team of creatives to produce engaging, social-first marketing communications, primarily targeting the Gen Z audience through short-form video content. The position requires a deep understanding of the creative process and current cultural trends to deliver impactful content that drives business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced creatives to translate strong ideas into social-first executions.
  • Develop highly engaging content for multiple platforms, prioritizing short-form video.
  • Inspire and share knowledge on engaging the 18-24 audience with the wider team.
  • Leverage brand style guidelines creatively while ensuring work is on brief and on brand.
  • Bring innovative ideas to scale the business through brand consideration and product awareness.
  • Collaborate with social platform partners and agencies to develop innovative campaigns.
  • Mentor and coach creative talent, fostering career development and inclusivity.
  • Set high creative standards for the brand and deliver impactful work that drives business outcomes.
  • Scale creative ideas to meet briefs while staying on budget.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of social media experience in-house and/or agency.
  • A strong, diverse portfolio of high-performing, award-winning social media work.
  • Experience managing multiple brands' social presence.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and short-form video influence.
  • Proven knowledge of social media marketing best practices and platform nuances.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of video production tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience vocalizing ideas and presenting to stakeholders.
  • Experience with consumer finance.
  • Experience leading a high-volume in-house studio.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and dynamic presentation abilities.
