About the position

The Social Media & Digital Marketing Associate at the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role involves managing social media channels, creating content, analyzing trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote health equity initiatives. The associate will play a key role in driving engagement and raising awareness among various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media and digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, website blogs, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to identify opportunities and optimize content strategy.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor paid social media advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic, conversions, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers and copywriters, to develop high-quality visual and written content.
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments, inquiries, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize social media management tools and analytics platforms to track, measure, and report on campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Conduct market research, customer surveys, and data analysis to identify consumer insights and refine marketing strategies.
  • Optimize website content and user experience to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Identify and explore new digital marketing opportunities and channels to expand the brand's online presence.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing website analytics, using data-driven insights to improve website performance and conversion rates.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, such as brochures, whitepapers, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising channels, and content marketing principles.
  • A portfolio or examples of successful digital marketing campaigns and content creation are required.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Experience in planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and targeting optimization.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing engaging copy, creating visual assets, and understanding graphic design principles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and derive actionable insights to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing strategies.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Nice-to-haves
