About the position

The Social Media/Digital Marketing/Communication Specialist at V R Della IT Services is responsible for engaging with consumers through various digital channels, addressing inquiries related to the organization, its products, and marketing initiatives. This role involves protecting and promoting the company's brand through effective consumer engagement and content creation, while also serving as a subject matter expert in communication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with consumers via digital channels, responding to questions or concerns about the organization and its product portfolio.
  • Protect and promote the company and brands through consumer engagement.
  • Write content and posts to respond to consumers.
  • Support key processes in the communication center as a subject matter expert.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor while collaborating with and supporting teams across the organization.
  • Provide periodic weekend support as needed.
  • Monitor and escalate influencer or risky posts to communications and legal for approved responses.
  • Maintain approved responses by brand matrix.
  • Handle select quality escalations within the social channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, or comparable work experience.
  • 2-3 years of prior business experience in a Communications or Consumer-focused role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in social media channels with an interest in emerging digital trends.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve, collaborate, and communicate in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize channel management based on volume.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Spanish or French speaking is a plus.
