About the position

As a Digital Marketing Project Manager at Social Spice Media, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of various digital marketing projects from inception to completion. This position requires a dynamic and innovative approach to project management, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while exceeding client expectations. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of marketers, designers, content creators, and developers, leveraging creativity, technology, and data-driven strategies to help brands navigate the digital landscape effectively. In this role, you will lead the planning and implementation of a variety of digital marketing projects, including website launches, SEO/SEM campaigns, social media strategies, and email marketing initiatives. You will define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients, developing detailed project plans to track progress and allocate resources effectively. Your responsibilities will also include managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, utilizing appropriate verification techniques to ensure project success. You will be responsible for measuring project performance using various systems, tools, and techniques, and will report and escalate issues to management as needed. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders will be crucial, as will performing risk management to minimize project risks. Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of digital marketing projects, including website launches, SEO/SEM campaigns, social media strategies, and email marketing.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and allocate resources effectively.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience (3+ years) as a project manager in the digital marketing sector.
  • Solid technical background, with an understanding of web development and digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
