About the position

The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist at Nation Security is responsible for engaging with online communities to promote the company's products and enhance customer care. The specialist will develop and implement social media strategies, manage content production, and analyze performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, leveraging research, benchmarking, and audience insights.
• Craft and execute online content plans, managing production, scheduling, and distribution effectively.
• Support crisis management efforts, addressing negative feedback and communications tactfully.
• Create, edit, and publish daily content across platforms, including text, images, video, and HTML.
• Foster community engagement through active dialogue and messaging, nurturing meaningful connections.
• Establish and maintain social media profiles and pages for the company.
• Moderate user-generated content in accordance with company guidelines.
• Devise and execute social media marketing strategies and editorial calendars.
• Monitor and analyze analytics to derive insights on traffic, demographics, and campaign effectiveness, using data to optimize future strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold company reputation, coordinate promotional efforts, and expand audience reach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital marketing and social media
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms for business purposes (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Familiarity with project management and web design principles
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and optimize campaign performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
