About the position

The Social Media Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in the marketing department of the Carolina Panthers, focusing on creating visually engaging graphics for various social media platforms. This position requires a creative individual who can transform ideas into compelling visual content that resonates with fans and enhances the team's brand presence online. The designer will collaborate with the digital media team to execute creative campaigns, ensuring that all graphics align with the Carolina Panthers' brand identity and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually engaging graphics for social media posts, banners, animations, and advertisements across platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the digital media team to develop and execute creative campaigns that align with the Carolina Panthers brand.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and social media platform updates to improve the quality of visual content.
  • Work closely with the content team to ensure timely delivery of graphics for marketing and promotional efforts, including game days and events.
  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic and brand identity across all social media channels.
  • Create layouts that reinforce brand style and voice across various visual touchpoints.
  • Generate clear ideas and concepts for creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Optimize creative campaign effectiveness based on data and analytics.
  • Continuously develop skills and explore new creative techniques.
  • Communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably within an agency or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and other graphic design software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative skills and experience in designing for social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience developing campaign ads on multiple platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of design techniques and emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of photography, composition, and lighting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience working in a sports organization or with sports-related brands.
  • Passion for football and understanding of sports culture.
  • Ability to develop motion graphics from scratch or existing files.
