About the position

As a Social Media Manager and Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage with the online community. This part-time role also includes light administrative tasks related to customer reimbursements and insurance claims processing.

Responsibilities

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms
  • Build & Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media insights to guide future strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Engage in light administrative work such as charging car rental customers for reimbursements on EZ pass transactions and tickets
  • Follow up with insurance claims for faster processing on payments
  • Pay off tickets before seeking reimbursement for them

Requirements

  • Proficient in social media management tools and techniques
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with online communities
  • Ability to create engaging visual content including photography and video editing
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies
  • Proficiency in social listening and relationship management
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • Strong research skills for staying current on industry trends
  • 1 year of social media management experience
  • 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in video editing
  • Not camera shy for on-camera appearances
