About the position

As a Social Media Manager and Assistant at Salt Hank LLC, you will play a crucial role in managing the social media presence of our brand, particularly on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the posting schedule, ensuring that content is consistently shared across all relevant platforms. You will also be tasked with exploring various monetization strategies for each platform, helping to maximize our reach and engagement. This position is ideal for someone who is not only organized but also passionate about food, as you will be deeply involved in the food product space and will need to contribute ideas for recipes and content related to food. In addition to managing social media, you will assist with clerical work behind the scenes, which may include scheduling, coordinating content production, and possibly even creating some of the visual assets if you have skills in filming, editing, or graphic design. The role is part-time, with expected hours ranging from 1 to 10 per week, depending on the workload and the brand's growth. As we plan for rapid expansion in the coming months, your contributions will be vital in helping us build our portfolio and establish a strong presence in the food media space. You will be working closely with the founder, Henry, who is looking for someone to help keep his life organized and manage various social obligations related to the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the posting schedule for social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat.
  • Syndicate posts across all relevant platforms to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Explore and implement monetization strategies for each social media platform.
  • Assist with clerical work behind the scenes, including scheduling and content coordination.
  • Contribute ideas for recipes and food-related content, reflecting a genuine passion for food.
  • Help with the creation of visual assets, including filming and editing, if applicable.

Requirements
