About the position

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at Smoke City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence through engaging content, strategic campaigns, and maintaining a strong online reputation. The Social Media Manager will play a key role in driving brand awareness, increasing website traffic, and fostering a positive community of customers and fans. It is essential that the applicant is a smoker and engaged in the vaping and smoking industry/community, as this will help in understanding our audience and creating relevant content. In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. You will create and curate high-quality content, including images, videos, and blog posts, to engage and entertain our audience. Managing and moderating our social media channels will be crucial, ensuring a positive and respectful tone while responding promptly to customer inquiries and comments. Additionally, you will conduct ongoing research and analysis of social media trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve and drive innovation. Building and maintaining relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other online personalities will be part of your responsibilities to promote our brand and products. Monitoring and reporting on key social media metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic, will help measure the effectiveness of our social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective features and capabilities
  • Excellent writing, design, and communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with e-commerce and online advertising platforms
  • Strong understanding of online etiquette and social media best practices
